He is in contact with all ClimateHub members, connects local initiatives and actively enables new, effective climate projects. He also organises events such as the Climate Participation Day. Brought together at the first Climate Participation Day, the group is working to make Würzburg greener: with temporary planting projects and modular street furniture made from sustainable materials, they campaign for a climate-resilient, more liveable city centre. The result can be admired at changing locations around the city.

At the Environmental Detectives camp in 2025, around 20 children playfully discovered the connections between the environment, climate and sustainable living. The concept was based on the Climate Fresk approach and combined creative workshops, time in nature and camp community with climate education for children. The week offered space for curiosity, exchange and unforgettable holiday memories.🏕️
Founding a citizen energy cooperative for Würzburg has been with us since the ClimateHub began. Drawing on the experience from Potsdam we were able to get the project moving quickly, and the BürgerEnergieTag brought in new allies once again.

At the first Climate Participation Day in Würzburg, more than 70 people celebrated the opening of the new ClimateHub. Together they developed creative projects for more climate action in the region, focusing on actively involving residents in shaping concrete solutions for a more sustainable future. 🌱
The ClimateHub and our climate networker Sebastian have already made many new projects and initiatives possible! Anyone can take part in our regular events on a wide range of topics. We also actively bring projects that work in other cities to Würzburg.
ClimateHub Würzburg is the central platform for everyone in the city who is committed to climate action or would like to get involved. Initiatives, organisations and dedicated individuals connect here to drive effective projects forward together. Our online platform provides a space for digital exchange, while our local networker Sebastian supports people on the ground and brings in new impulses. With events, campaigns and creative hands-on activities we inspire more and more people to take climate action – because together we can achieve a lot in Würzburg!
